Birthday Party

Grace had a great time at her 4th birthday party. Grace and I decided on a rainbow theme and we were so blessed that so many of our friends and family were able to make it to the party. We had a full house! Here are some pictures of Grace's party, I'll post the pictures of all of the details next in a slide show.

My parents came on Friday night and brought along Grace's present...a new John Deere motorized Gator - just Grace's size. She quickly figured out the ropes and was tooling around the neighborhood in no time. Within minutes she was driving around the neighborhood picking up sticks in yards - just like Poppa does with his Gator. Oh, and Poppa of course, had to show her high gear on the first night. Pierre folks, don't be surprised if you see my chasing her around the block, me literally running! And watch out Buchanan Street!

A big thanks to my mother-in-law Michele for taking so many pictures for me. Most of these are hers, sprinkled in with some of mine. Another big thanks to my mom for helping me prepare for the party and keep everything stocked on the goody table. Cheers to you both!

Rainbow balloon garland. Great in theory, however, the siding was so hot the balloons were sporadically popping. I should have also swooped them rather than trying to have it shaped like a rainbow.

The treats!

Gifts and enjoying company

Bounce-house in the backyard.

This lovely box contained the sweetest tutu's, ballet slippers and fluffy skirts. A dream come true for a "princess dance class" girl like Grace. Picutres of attire to come soon. This was from Wiggle Gramma and Grandpa

Wiggle Gramma also had this custom treasure/keepsake box made for Grace as well. What a speical gift!

The girls who live on our block. So lucky to have great neighbors with girls Grace's age.

Cupcake Cheers! Hooray for being 4!
And last, but certainly not least, some of the party guests:
